KO the Mixtape -JUICE mag review

DJ Fuzz & Malique: KO The Mixtape (Qarma Musiq/Bum Squad Malaysia)
Posted December 17th, 2009 at 11:47 am by Kevin Yeoh

DJ Fuzz is one of the most celebrated Malaysian hip hop DJs around; Malique is one of the country’s most respected hip hop artists. When the two combine, you can only expect a hit record. Taking its cue from Malique’s OK album, KO: The Mixtape is the original reworked and JUICE approves! For once it don’t matter if there are a hundred guests featured on this release, because it works! In fact, we’d be so bold as to suggest that it may even be better than Malique’s first solo album OK! If this is your introduction to local hip hop and you wanna get off on the right foot, step this way and pick this up!

Listen to: ‘Khayal Bam Bam’
If you like this you’ll dig: SSK, Jin Hackman
Rating: 4

Shoutout to Kevin Yeoh and DJ Fuzz for the write-up
